A real-time data and integrity collaboration arrangement has been established between Genius Sports Group and the Malaysian Football League (MFL).
This agreement designates Genius Sports as the primary real-time data gathering and distribution platform for the MFL, encompassing the league’s most significant events, including the Super League, FA Cup, and Malaysia Cup.
Live match data will be accessible through automated social media posting services, live widgets, and other MFL media channels.
Genius Sports will also deploy certified statisticians to conduct real-time football statistics for all Super League matches and Malaysia Cup knockout stages. This will capture more detailed team and player statistics, including shot locations, assists, and yellow cards, with in-depth explanations.
Furthermore, Genius Sports has introduced a new integrity program to safeguard MFL matches against the threat of match manipulation and gambling-related corruption. This includes the Genius Sports betting monitoring system, on-site workshops, and tailored integrity audit services.
“When real-time data is readily available in a digital format, it can enhance the fan experience, as well as their comprehension of the game and the competition as it unfolds,” stated MFL CEO Dato’ Ab Ghani Hassan.
This will make the contest, athletes, and squads even larger.
