BetMakers Technology Group, a firm that offers wagering solutions, has acquired ABettorEdge, which operates under the moniker Punting Form.
The organization stated that Punting Form will aid them in enhancing their platform and managed trading services by providing them with superior back-end tools, more precise pricing, and increased profit margins.
The agreement, declared last week, saw BetMakers consent to pay up to A$20 million for the enterprise.
Punting Form utilizes specialized technology and artificial intelligence to generate data for horse racing that is employed to rate horses based on their performance. This service is utilized by professional betting groups, gambling firms, and individuals who create content about horse racing.
BetMakers asserted that this acquisition is highly significant for their business and that Punting Form will assist them in becoming a leading provider of horse racing data and technology.
BetMakers also stated that they will leverage Punting Form’s connections to aid horse racing groups in their global lottery operations, which will generate more revenue for race tracks in new and existing markets.
BetMakers asserts that this agreement will furnish its worldwide horse racing network with more competitive pricing and heightened confidence in international content. It will also provide their American fixed-odds operation with a greater volume of data.
This arrangement follows BetMakers’ declaration of a 13.3% surge in revenue for the initial quarter of their 2023 fiscal year. This growth was primarily attributed to the expansion of their global wagering services enterprise.
Revenue climbed from $21 million in the first quarter of the preceding year to $23.8 million in the current year.
