The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) will be experimenting with a novel sports wagering idea in pubs, eateries, and gambling establishments this weekend during Super Bowl LVI. Concurrently, the Canadian provincial lottery operator has initiated the search for a new head and chief executive officer.
The trial will transpire at thirteen locations, encompassing twelve bars dispersed throughout the province and the Chances Kelowna casino. The pilot will showcase real-time betting odds, details about BCLC’s PlayNow.com sports betting platform and promotions, and responsible gambling guidance presented on digital displays at each trial site.
PlayNow.com patrons at participating venues will also receive a ten-dollar PlayNow.com free wager voucher, which they can access by scanning a QR code at the establishment.
