Scientific Games’ OpenBet division has welcomed two new leaders to its ranks: Florian Diederichsen and Jessica Feil.

Diederichsen assumes the role of Chief Technology Officer, while Feil steps into the position of Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance.

Diederichsen will spearhead efforts to enhance and accelerate OpenBet’s sports offerings, particularly focusing on the development of next-generation sports betting entertainment.

Prior to joining OpenBet, Diederichsen served as CTO at DAZN, where he played a key role in constructing their online sports platform. He also held the CTO position at Perform, overseeing the technical aspects of global sports content and video services.

Feil joins OpenBet from the American Gaming Association (AGA), where she held the position of government relations and gaming policy lead. She will contribute to OpenBet’s global expansion, with a particular emphasis on the United States market.

OpenBet has emphasized that these new appointments are a testament to their commitment to investing in top talent, which will enable them to deliver enhanced services to their clientele.

OpenBet is taking a significant step by welcoming Florian and Jessica to the team, stated Jordan Levin, the company’s chief executive. These two highly experienced and well-regarded professionals demonstrate our dedication to providing the most exceptional sports betting experience for operators and bettors globally.

We are constantly seeking opportunities to distinguish ourselves, and with new regulations being enacted frequently, we are confident that Florian and Jessica will contribute to OpenBet’s expansion in their areas of specialization. This will be a substantial advantage for our clientele worldwide.

These appointments follow the sale of Scientific Games’ OpenBet division to Endeavor Group, a global talent and media agency, for a substantial sum of $1.2 billion last September.

Endeavor will make the payment in the form of $1 billion in cash and $200 million in stock. They have stated that this acquisition will strengthen their position in the sports betting market, which they have established through their data specialist, IMG Arena.

Endeavor believes that integrating OpenBet and IMG Arena will create a comprehensive solution for sports betting, offering official data, video streaming, content, mobile applications, and betting technology to leagues, federations, and sports betting companies across the globe.
