Betway, a prominent player in the realm of online sports wagering, has recently forged a partnership with Furia, a leading Brazilian esports organization.
This collaboration grants Betway the opportunity to showcase their brand on Furia’s streaming platform, known as BetwayTV. The two entities will also engage in joint ventures aimed at creating exciting initiatives globally.

Furia is renowned for its Counter-Strike team, which competes in the prestigious ESL Pro League.
André Akkari, a prominent figure within Furia, highlighted Betway’s commitment to responsible gambling as a key factor in their decision to partner.
“We are delighted to welcome Betway to our team,” Akkari expressed. “They are a prominent force in esports betting and are dedicated to upholding ethical practices.

This agreement comes at a juncture when Brazil is actively developing regulations governing sports betting.
During the last seven days, the Rio de Janeiro state lottery organization (LOTERJ) has initiated a competitive bidding procedure for companies seeking to design, disseminate, and market lottery and fixed-odds sports wagering goods.
In the previous August, the Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, signed an official decree incorporating sports betting into the nation’s investment partnership program portfolio and assigning the role of administrator for the country’s sports betting licensing process.
Concurrently, Betway is making preparations to go public in the current year following an agreement to merge with the special purpose acquisition company, Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp. (SEAC), for a sum of $47.5 billion.
