Affinity Interactive Appoints Scott Butera as President and CEO

Affinity Interactive has designated seasoned gaming and leisure veteran Scott Butera as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Butera contributes over three decades of expertise to the position, renowned for propelling expansion and creativity in organizations such as MGM Resorts International, the National Football League, Foxwoods Resort and Casino, and Trump Entertainment.

In his latest role, Butera functioned as the leader of Affinity’s Sports Information Group (SIG), where he spearheaded the creation of novel retail and commercial offerings and amplified the online earnings of the Daily Racing Form, an equine publication.

James J. Zenni Jr., Chairman of Affinity Interactive, commended Butera’s history, emphasizing his operational proficiency and extensive comprehension of the gaming and leisure sector. Zenni conveyed assurance in Butera’s capacity to effortlessly shift into this broadened role and guide Affinity to even greater achievements.

Butera also highlighted Affinity’s dedication to advancing the gaming sector, remarking, “We’re focused on utilizing innovative technology and providing exceptional customer support to craft remarkable experiences, be it online or within a brick-and-mortar casino. That’s our path to success.”

He continued by conveying his excitement to partner with Jim, noting, “I’m enthusiastic about collaborating with Jim and utilizing my industry expertise and zeal for progress to realize Affinity Interactive’s strategic objectives.”

This designation follows a year of executive transitions at Affinity, including the naming of Harris Ekman Yassar to the role of Chief Financial Officer.
