A minimum of 20 poker enthusiasts will secure their places in the Chris Moneymaker Tour Main Event held in Aruba this coming October. Backed by ACR Poker, the tournament boasts an impressive $200,000 in guaranteed prizes, and participants can grab their spots via online satellite events.
ACR Poker recently declared its backing, pledging no fewer than 20 entries to Moneymaker’s Aruba competition this fall. The event, carrying a substantial $200,000 guarantee, is integrated into a broader series of live poker tournaments orchestrated by the former WSOP titleholder and current ACR Poker representative, Chris Moneymaker.
This announcement follows Moneymaker’s own string of victories, including a 6th place finish in the ACR Poker $1.25 Million Venom, netting him a tidy $382,007. He then proceeded to conquer Event #1: GG Million$ Live at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro, adding a further $903,000 to his earnings.
“Representing ACR Poker during my recent winning streak has been a privilege,” Moneymaker remarked. “I’m thankful for their backing of my tour and eager to connect with everyone in the stunning locale of Aruba this autumn.”
Aspiring competitors can earn their ticket to Aruba through a unique Beast satellite tournament scheduled for Sunday, June 9th at 6:05 PM ET.
Direct entry to this tournament is available for $95, or players can secure their spot by topping the ACR Poker Beast weekly leaderboard. The satellite guarantees 20 packages valued at $2,500 each, amounting to a remarkable $50,000 in total value. Each package encompasses the $1,500 Main Event buy-in and an additional $1,000 allocated for travel costs.
Americas Cardroom Poker presents a $109 entry satellite competition each Sunday evening at 6:05 PM Eastern Time, granting participants an opportunity to secure a spot in the $1,500 Main Event of their forthcoming tour stop.
The next destination on ACR’s “High Roller Adventure” tour is Montenegro this May. The “High Roller Adventure” series, which has previously included locations like London and Monte Carlo, provides players with travel packages and poker opportunities.
The Montenegro portion runs from May 12th to 26th, with two package victors guaranteed from the Main Satellite on April 28th. Each package encompasses a seat in the $11,000 Super High Roller series, in addition to business class airfare and opulent lodging.
Separately in the poker world, GGPoker revealed its “World Festival Tournament,” which features a colossal $250 million guaranteed prize fund. The tournament will occur from May 5th to June 11th.
