MGM Secures Title Sponsorship of Clarence House Chase Day at Ascot Racecourse

MGM has obtained title sponsorship for Clarence House Chase Day at the Ascot Racecourse on January 20th. The day’s pinnacle event, the Grade 1 MGM Clarence House Chase, offers a prize of £175,000. This esteemed race has historically drawn racing icons such as Altior, Energumene, and Sprinter Sacre. This year, enthusiasts eagerly await a clash between racing stars Jonbon and El Fabio, conditioned by racing titans Nicky Henderson and Willie Mullins, respectively.

MGM’s backing encompasses five additional races on the day’s schedule, including the noteworthy Grade 2 MGM Mares’ Hurdle (Registered as The Warfield) with a £60,000 purse. The cumulative prize pool for MGM Clarence House Chase Day in 2024 has reached an unprecedented £415,000, a substantial 13% surge from 2022’s £366,400.
